“The loyal fans who buy the most watch a creator a lot. When they see you again and again, they believe the creator really likes your product.”

Claire Saffitz and Cometeer

Claire Saffitz x Dessert Person has 1,500,000 subscribers, and four of her videos thank Cometeer as sponsor, from October 2025 to October 2026.

  1. Her reads point to a link with her name in it, cometeer.com/clairesaffitz. No discount code appears in any of the four.
  2. The read sits inside a coffee recipe twice: a Coffee Oreo ice cream in March 2026 and a coffee tres leches cake in June 2026.
  3. Her October 2026 read, a Coffee Advent Calendar, has 385,583 views.

A link with the creator's name does the same job as a code: every order is tracked back to her.

  • Black Rifle Coffee puts 8 of its 15 sponsored videos on sports channels and none on food channels. Cameron Hanes has 5 of them.
  • Blackout, Bones and Danger Coffee show up in hundreds of videos with a code, and almost none of those say sponsored. A code in a description is often a creator's own affiliate deal.

What a coffee brand can take from it

  1. Pick cooking and baking channels where coffee can go into the recipe itself.
  2. Book the same creator again. Cometeer's second run went back to Claire Saffitz four times in a year.
  3. Give each creator a link or code in their own name, so you see which one sold.
